SHIFT
When you've outgrown the version of you that got you here
-
When you have been holding onto others but let go of yourself
-
When you don't have words for it yet but something needs to be different
-
When you’ve outgrown old roles, and you’re curious who you might become with a little guidance and care
-
When you just don't know how to make this make sense
If any of these resonate with you, you are in the right place... we want to welcome you here.

S
Strength.
Not the kind that pushes through.
The kind that knows when to soften, and when not to.
H
Healing.
What happens when your healing begins with being fully, respectfully seen.
I
Independence.
A self that belongs to you. Not in opposition to anyone — just yours
F
Freedom.
Room to choose. Room to change your mind. Room to be more than one thing.
What SHIFT Stands For
A small word for something large.
T
Transformation.
The deep and meaningful work of becoming who you actually are
When you are ready for your next chapter...
When you’re sitting across from one of us, you’re not with someone who’s just nodding and “taking notes.” You’re with people who know something about having life pulled out from under you — losing a partner, starting over in work and money, walking through the end of a marriage, healing from harm, and finding a way to build a life that feels meaningful again.
We bring many years of experience, both in the therapy room and in real life — raising families, changing careers, and rebuilding after loss. We understand how many times a life can be constructed, deconstructed, and beautifully reconstructed. We take your story seriously and are here to offer real, grounded support — the kind that helps you feel understood, steadier in yourself, and more able to move toward a life that genuinely feels like yours.

With over 20 years of experience, Rebecca offers a calm, compassionate space for people who are ready to understand what has happened to them and begin rebuilding from the inside out. She has a special focus on supporting those recovering from abuse, coercive control, relationship harm, and the deep confusion that can come from being disconnected from your own voice, needs, and values. Rebecca brings warmth, insight, and steadiness to the counselling process, helping clients feel safe enough to make sense of their experiences and begin moving toward clarity, healing, and meaningful change..

Lisa brings warmth, lived experience, and a deep respect for how hard it can be to move forward when life has left you feeling stuck, grieving, afraid, or unsure of yourself. As a former first responder, she understands what it can mean to carry difficult experiences, keep functioning, and still feel the weight of what has happened. Lisa creates a supportive space to explore the pain, questions, hopes, and choices that come with rebuilding, helping clients reconnect with their voice, their truth, and a life that feels more open, grounded, and possible.

Jamie brings honesty, humour, compassion, and accountability to clients who are ready for something to shift. Having navigated significant life changes, including rebuilding through loss, changing direction, and stepping into new chapters, she understands how overwhelming it can feel when life no longer looks the way you expected. Jamie is direct in a caring way, helping clients work through anxiety, perfectionism, procrastination, communication struggles, and the patterns that may be holding them back. Her approach blends practical tools, real conversation, and steady support so clients can move toward clarity, confidence, and lasting change.
